- What about Social Security Disability?I want to get a home loan. I have social security disability and good credit and no debt. Can I get a home loan if my income supports the purchase price? What do I need to show as income documentation. Is an award letter enough? Do I have to get any kinds of additional letters stating my disability is permanant and ongoing or that I'm likely to be disabled longer than a period of time like 5 years?
